Emily Heads to Greece: Could Emily in Paris Land in Paros for Season 6?

"I'm at sea without you. Meet me in Greece." — Gabriel, season 5 finale. After five seasons of stylish escapades across Europe, Emily in Paris may be setting sail for Greece.

The hit Netflix series is confirmed to film part of its sixth season in the country - alongside Monaco - fueling speculation that destinations like Paros could take center stage.

The shift follows a season five finale that saw Gabriel invite Emily to Greece, where he was cooking aboard a billionaire’s private yacht - hinting at a strong maritime backdrop for the next chapter. From Saint-Tropez to Venice, the series has steadily expanded beyond Paris, and a move into the Greek islands feels like a natural - and visually striking - next step.

When Paris vs. Italy became a diplomatic incident

This isn't the first time the show's location choices have stirred real-world controversy. When Season 4 ended with Emily moving from Paris to Rome, France was not amused — and the debate quickly escalated far beyond fan forums. French President Emmanuel Macron personally weighed in, declaring that they would "fight hard" to bring Emily back to Paris.

Rome's mayor Roberto Gualtieri fired back with the most Italian response possible:

"Emily is doing very well in Rome."
