Bookings Open for Royal Caribbean’s Hero of the Seas
Royal Caribbean is taking family cruising to a new level with Hero of the Seas, the fourth Icon Class ship, set to debut from Miami in August 2027.
This record-breaking ship will feature 9 pools, including the adults-only Hideaway with a massive swim-up bar and in-water DJ, plus the brand-new Coconut Cove with loungers and Caribbean vibes. Families can enjoy the first-ever funnel raft slide at sea alongside mat-racing Storm Chasers duo, designed for group thrills.
Dining gets an upgrade too, with 28 venues, including a New Orleans jazz supper club and hands-on cooking classes for all ages.
For luxury seekers, the Ultimate Family Treehouse suite spans three stories, with a rooftop terrace, private whirlpool, teen space, and two main bedrooms, all with balconies and Surfside access.
Royal Caribbean is clearly doubling down on shared family experiences, combining resort-style relaxation, thrilling waterparks, and immersive dining - all in one giant floating playground.
Bookings started on April 1, 2026, with Miami as the homeport.
