PBIBS 2026 Will Host Two Casino Royale Superyachts
At this year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS), taking place from 25–29 March 2026, two superyachts with the same name—Casino Royale—are expected to attract attention.
The name comes from the world of James Bond. It was first introduced in Casino Royale by Ian Fleming, and later became globally popular through the Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig.
In the yachting world, Casino Royale is a very common name - especially among charter yachts. The reason is simple: it instantly evokes luxury, entertainment, and a high-end lifestyle. For charter clients, the name suggests glamour, exclusivity, and a memorable onboard experience. It is also easy to recognize and pronounce internationally, which makes it a strong marketing tool.
At PBIBS, the two yachts carrying this name stand out for their size:
Casino Royale (by Amels ) – 242 ft / 73.76 m ( Photo from Amels website)
Casino Royale ( ex SOLO)( by Tankoa) – 236 ft 3 in / 72.01 m ( Photo from Boatinternational website)
Seeing two yachts with the same name at the same show is unusual, but it highlights how powerful and enduring this name is within the industry. In a competitive environment like PBIBS, a name like Casino Royale does more than identify a yacht - it helps sell an experience.
