Mark Zuckerberg’s New 80 meter Support Yacht

Mark Zuckerberg has added a new and much larger support yacht to his fleet: the 80-meter U-81, now renamed Wingman.

This new mega suply yacht replaces his previous support yacht with the same name, which he recently sold to the team managing the megayacht Kaos.

U-81 was built by Damen in 2022. It originally served as a supply boat but later went through a major conversion to become a modern yacht support boat. The result is a strong, capable ship designed to carry equipment, toys, extra crew, and anything Zuckerberg’s main yacht, Launchpad, might need.

The new Wingman is powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. With a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles, she can travel long distances without needing to refuel, making her ideal for extended trips.

Inside, U-81 can host eight guests in four comfortable cabins and carries a crew of 16. While details of the interior remain private, the layout is designed for efficiency and practicality, with enough space and support facilities for long operations at sea.
