Frank Sinatra’s Former Charter Yacht to Be Restored by YouTuber
A YouTuber has launched an ambitious new restoration project after purchasing a 24m classic yacht dating back to 1956. Originally built by Burger Boat Company and designed by Sparkman & Stephens, the vessel was commissioned by philanthropist Victor McCormick, who reportedly paid around $500,000 at the time.
The yacht carries a rich and unusual history, including ownership by Bill Post and even a period where it was chartered privately by Frank Sinatra for over a decade. Over the years, the vessel changed hands multiple times and underwent several name changes before eventually falling into disrepair.
Now named Nostalgia 10, the yacht had been abandoned in a marina for more than a decade before being acquired by its new owner. Despite its condition, one of its most remarkable features remains intact: its original mahogany interiors, preserved according to the original 1950s plans.

The 1950s vibe even comes through in the picture.
The YouTuber plans to fully restore the yacht while maintaining its classic character, upgrading key systems, and making it seaworthy again. Powered by twin Detroit Diesel V8 engines and equipped with features such as stabilizers and hydraulic steering, the yacht offers a strong foundation for the project.
The restoration will begin with cleaning, repairs, and a full technical assessment - marking the start of what is expected to be a challenging but highly rewarding journey to bring this historic yacht back to life.
