80-Meter Alfa Nero to Be Showcased at TYBA Yacht Charter Show
One of the most iconic superyachts of the modern era, the 80-meter Alfa Nero, is set to make an appearance at the TYBA Yacht Charter Show, taking place from May 9 to 13 in Turkey. Known for her striking lines, expansive aft deck swimming pool, and timeless interior by Alberto Pinto, Alfa Nero remains one of the most talked-about vessels in the superyacht world.
Built by Oceanco and delivered in 2007, Alfa Nero made waves from the start with her 7-meter infinity pool that transforms into a helipad — a groundbreaking feature at the time. With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, she offers a gross tonnage of 2,159 and a beam of 14.2 meters, providing vast exterior and interior guest spaces. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in six luxurious staterooms, with a master suite that rivals those found in boutique hotels.
Highlights include a beach club, gym, spa, and a cinema lounge, making Alfa Nero a floating resort designed for both relaxation and grand entertaining. Her sophisticated yet contemporary interior, paired with generous outdoor areas, has kept her among the favorite choices of high-profile charter clients over the years.
While her design and amenities continue to impress, Alfa Nero has also remained in headlines for other reasons. Following U.S. sanctions against her alleged former owner, Russian billionaire Andrey Guriev, the yacht was detained in Antigua and later auctioned in 2023. She is now reportedly owned by Turkish businessmen and, according to Forbes Russia, remains at the center of an international ownership dispute.
Regardless of the legal wranglings, Alfa Nero is expected to be one of the standout yachts at this year’s TYBA Yacht Charter Show, offering brokers and industry professionals a rare opportunity to step aboard one of the world’s most talked-about superyachts.
