Imagine being on a whale-watching boat and suddenly spotting Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau kissing on a nearby yacht. Sounds unreal? It happened.

After months of rumours, the pop star and the former Canadian prime minister appear to have confirmed their romance.

In photos published by The Daily Mail, the couple can be seen hugging and kissing aboard Perry’s 24-metre yacht, Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.

According to witnesses, the pair seemed unaware of tourists on a passing whale-watching boat who captured the intimate moment.

“She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” one onlooker told The Daily Mail. “I didn’t realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm — and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau.”

The duo were previously spotted dining together at a Montréal restaurant in July, sparking speculation about a budding relationship.

Who Owns the Yacht Caravelle?

The yacht they were spotted on is Katy Perry’s own vessel, Caravelle — a 24-metre luxury yacht that has become her go-to escape on the Californian coast.
