Australians Can Now Sail to Türkiye Visa-Free

Türkiye has officially removed visa requirements for Australian citizens with ordinary passports. It will allow yacht holidays along the Turkish Riviera easier, especially for last minute holidays.

Under the new regulation, Australians can enter Türkiye without applying for a visa or e-Visa in advance and stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism and transit purposes. Passports must be valid for at least six months from the arrival date.

The new rule is expected to encourage more Australian yacht charter guests and private yacht owners to discover Türkiye’s world-famous cruising destinations, including Bodrum, Göcek, Marmaris, and Antalya.

With visa-free access now in place, planning a last-minute sailing holiday along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts becomes far more convenient, especially during the busy summer charter season.
