‘Super Yacht Arabia’ announced
Saudi Arabia Launches ‘Super Yacht Arabia’ to Position Red Sea as Global Yachting Hub. Saudi authorities unveiled the international Super Yacht Arabia campaign at the Monaco Yacht Show, aiming to establish the Red Sea as a premier destination for luxury cruising and maritime tourism.
The initiative highlights the region’s unique combination of cutting-edge infrastructure and natural beauty, from expansive coral reefs to secluded private islands. Modern ports, advanced sea lanes, and exclusive experiences are being promoted as part of the campaign.
Saudi Tourism Authority CEO Fahd Hamidaddin emphasized that the Red Sea is now ready to welcome the global yachting community. He noted the effort is backed by over SR84 billion ($22.4 billion) in investment and supported by a 1,800 km-long coastline.
As part of Saudi Vision 2030, the Red Sea is seen as a strategic growth opportunity thanks to its location, scalable infrastructure, and strong government support.
Saudi Arabia already accounts for around 3% of global superyacht ownership, underlining the country’s growing influence in the luxury maritime sector.
