Elegant lines and winning layout: the perfect combination of style and functionality.
Hull and superstructure in marine grade aluminium, a semi-planing hull and two 2,580 kW 12V 4000 M93L MTU engines make this 49-metre a high-performance yacht that registered an official speed of 24.0 knots during sea trials.
A tri-deck vessel with plenty of room, generously distributed inside and out.
Like the first, this second 49m Prince Shark unit, Polaris, was also designed for the Rossinavi shipyard by Enrico Gobbi at Team for Design, who conceived an elegant mega yacht with crisp dynamic external lines. The aim was to create exceptional, elegant architecture that was at the same time sporting and aggressive.
External features worthy of note include the large sundeck-lounge area built between the two forward sides of the superstructure in the bows, guaranteeing maximum privacy and magnificent views, and the amazing flying bridge, protected by slender structural arches into which large side windows have been inserted, home to a 3.5 metre (12’) pool with its own waterfall.
The style of the interiors on Polaris II sees a balanced compromise of modern and contemporary influences with just a hint of eclectics inspired by the owner’s personal taste, accompanied, no less importantly, by refined materials and coverings that lend undisputed, timeless elegance to the atmosphere and a strong feel of luxury and opulence. Natural materials such as dark glossy ebony, mainly used for the bespoke furniture, are skilfully teamed with pale ivory maple wood and fine ivory-white leather.
The naval architecture for this second episode once again bears the trademark signature of Arrabito Naval Architects.
